Simplicity 2925

Yes, ....I know I've been a bad blogger, but I'm still around! My mojo iz still going, and I haven't stopped a bit. In all honesty, I just hadn't put aside any time to blog, and I've completed soo many projects! I'll get better in time, in fact I just recently learned something that I'm sure you, already knew about. Now, keep in mind, I'm a bit challenged with the operations of blogger, but i just realized that I can schedule my posts!! Yey!!, I can write up my posts ahead of time and schedule them to publish. Too cool, and boy do I have some reviews to write....
Let's go back to May. Yep, this was made up during the summer, and it's an easy sew.....

Simplicity 2925

Pattern Description: Misses & Miss Petite Dress, Tunic, Tie Belt and Pants Sew Stylish Collection

Pattern Sizing: Many, I used a 14. View B

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, pretty E-Z.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? There were really no major dislikes, but you will need a different bra for this considering the placement of the straps . I really liked the shape and fit, especially the shoulder area.

Fabric Used: Stretch cotton sateen

Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made: I raised the upper bodice/colla
r area up a tad bit.

Would you sew it again? Would you
recommend it to others? Yes/ Yes very few pieces and easy to sew up!

Conclusion This was a very easy dress to sew up, straight out the envelope! It only took a few hours to finish up, and I wore it to church the very next day. It's pretty versatile for any occasion and can be worn with the belt included in the pattern or a purchased one. Luved it!

  6. The dress looks sooo much better on you than on the pattern front model. The floral print is great. You should have been on the cover, Simplicity probably would have sold more patterns.
